Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist to deliver comprehensive prosthetic and orthotic care across our clinic network.

You will assess patients, formulate treatment plans, fabricate and fit devices, and collaborate with physicians to achieve optimal outcomes. Qualified candidates will hold ABC or BOC certification (or board-eligibility) and a bachelor’s degree in the field, with licensure as required by state.

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics or board-eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics (or foreign equivalent)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Active licensure where required by state
• Ability to mentor residents or new clinicians
• Wamiliar with safety regulations and Medicare/OSHA requirements

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate patient needs for prosthetic/orthotic services
• Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and/or orthotic devices
• Provide patient instruction and follow-up care
• Develop and maintain patient records with detailed clinical notes
• Meet with physicians and referral sources to expand service capabilities
