Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist to join our clinical team. You will evaluate patients, develop custom treatment plans, and provide innovative prosthetic and orthotic solutions that improve mobility and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current ABC/BOC board certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics or eligible.
• Degree in prosthetics/orthotics required; licensure may be state dependent.
• Strong biomechanics, anatomy, and engineering principles.
• Excellent communication with patients, physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate prosthetic/orthotic needs and propose options.
• Assess patient conditions and design prosthetic/orthotic devices.
• Take measurements, cast models, and select materials.
• Perform fittings and alignments, ensure proper fit and function.
• Provide patient education and follow-up care.
