Moog Inc in Buffalo, NY, onsite, seeks a Propulsion Systems Engineering Director to lead the Propulsion BU, setting engineering strategy, budgets, and workforce plans. You will mentor and coach a high-performing team, oversee IRAD and continuous improvement, and ensure delivery of innovative, safe propulsion solutions across programs.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or Software engineering.
• 15+ years leading multi-disciplined engineering teams, including Internal R&D initiatives.
• 7+ years in progressive leadership roles with lean and process-improvement experience.
• Demonstrated competence in facilitative, consensus-driven decision making.
• Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen; with experience bringing products through development to production.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Propulsion BU Engineering organization with strategy, budgets, and workforce planning.
• Direct all engineering talent initiatives including recruitment, development, and succession planning.
• Oversee IRAD investments, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable, and safe propulsion solutions.
• Drive a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
• Establish KPIs and manage performance with escalation handling.
• Develop long-term workforce, capability, and technology strategies.
