Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Spacecraft Propulsion & Thrusters Business Segment Director to lead the segment with full P&L ownership. The role is onsite in Buffalo, NY, reporting to the Sr.

Director, BUGM, and requires a strong track record in strategic leadership, budgeting and cross-functional collaboration. The position emphasizes executive communication, financial acumen, and the ability to drive growth across multiple programs and customers within Moog's Propulsion Systems Business Unit.

Qualifications

• 12+ years managing business functions in a diverse environment.
• Demonstrated P&L leadership with budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategy, and sales management.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent business and financial acumen including contract management, risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the strategic plan for the Spacecraft Propulsion & Thrusters Business Segment.
• Manage the Profit & Loss statement and Balance Sheet, with targets for bookings, sales and profit.
• Oversee day-to-day program execution of complex development and production programs across multiple customers.
• Build relationships with customers, industry partners, suppliers, and Moog teams to drive collaboration.
• Support new business opportunities and workforce/capital planning; participate in leadership discussions.
