Job summary

Cartus is seeking a Proposal Lead to drive the proposal workflow and coordinate resources across bids, RFPs, and strategic projects. You will coach the writing team, partner with Sales, Account Management, and SMEs to develop tailored responses, and maintain a reusable content library.

You will translate client needs into differentiated narratives and apply data and technology to improve efficiency, governance and the proposal experience.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading proposals, bids or RFP responses.
• Experience managing writing teams and complex projects with deadlines.
• Proven ability to create accurate, compliant content for diverse audiences.
• Familiarity with proposal-management approaches and bid platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal workflow, assess requirements and allocate resources across bids and RFPs.
• Manage high-profile opportunities from planning through submission with timelines and quality standards.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, coaching and development for the writing team.
• Partner with Sales, Account Management, and SMEs to gather insights and craft tailored responses.
• Maintain and reuse content in a centralized response library.
• Improve templates, processes, and governance for efficiency.
• Translate client needs into differentiated solution narratives.
• Apply data and technology to strengthen workflows and identify improvements.
• Promote inclusive collaboration across internal teams and external partners.
