Job summary

Caddell Construction is seeking a Proposal Manager to lead responses to RFPs across multiple markets, including Montgomery, AL, Jacksonville, FL, metro-Atlanta, GA, Bentonville, AR, Columbus, OH, and Phoenix, AZ.

You will analyze documents, coordinate with partners, and manage proposal deliverables while working with estimators, operations, and home office staff. This role emphasizes strong writing, organization, and meeting tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and 10 years in professional business writing or proposal development.
• Four-year degree and at least five years of proposal development experience preferred; federal proposals are a plus.
• Strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills; ability to analyze RFPs/RFQs and owner documents.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines; proficient in MS Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Analyze RFP documents and prepare Caddell response
• Work with joint venture partners, design team partners, and key subcontractors to define and manage deliverables as necessary to complete proposal requirements
• Work directly with estimators, operations personnel, and other field and home office personnel to gather information necessary to develop proposals
• Establish internal due dates for proposal requirements to ensure adequate time for review by all necessary stakeholders
• Confer with Director of Marketing and Proposals and appropriate business unit leaders projects and personnel for inclusion in proposal documents
• Maintain proposal files on a shared server
• Maintain assigned proposal/opportunity records in company selected database software
• Available to help with additional tasks that impact proposals such as CPARS evaluations, small business subcontracting statistics, safety statistics, and company financial information
• Prepare for and leads proposal debrief conversations with clients
• Assist with training of new proposals personnel
• Preform additional assignments per supervisor's direction
