Job summary

Eastern Research Group, Inc. is seeking a Document Production Specialist in Morrisville, NC to produce, format, and QC client deliverables for federal and state projects.

You will apply branding standards, manage complex Word documents, and ensure accessibility compliance. The role requires advanced Word and Adobe Acrobat skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines while coordinating with proposal teams and editors.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in document production, proposal production, or similar support.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Successful completion of a practical document production assessment.

Responsibilities

• Format and produce proposals, technical reports, resumes, and marketing materials.
• Apply and maintain style guides, branding standards, and formatting requirements.
• Develop and manage complex Word documents with styles, templates, TOCs, and cross-references.
• Create, import, and update tables, charts, figures, and graphics.
• Maintain version control and document integrity throughout production lifecycle.
• Assemble final deliverables and submission packages under tight deadlines.
• Develop and remediate documents for Section 508 accessibility.
• Perform quality control reviews for formatting, accessibility, branding, and completeness.
• Coordinate with proposal teams, editors, and technical staff; manage electronic files.
