Job summary

ERG is seeking a Document Production Specialist to produce, format, and quality‑control client deliverables and proposals for federal and state engagements. You will manage complex Word documents, apply branding, accessibility standards, and ensure on‑time delivery.

The ideal candidate has advanced Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat skills, exceptional attention to detail, and thrives under tight deadlines while coordinating with proposal teams in a fast‑paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in document production, proposal production, or technical doc support
• Advanced proficiency in Word and Acrobat
• Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Practical document production skills assessment required

Responsibilities

• Format and produce proposals, technical reports, work plans, resumes, forms, presentations, and marketing materials
• Apply and maintain style guides, branding standards, formatting requirements
• Develop complex Word documents: styles, templates, numbering, TOCs, cross-references, headers/footers, breaks
• Create/import/update tables, charts, figures, and graphics
• Maintain version control and document integrity
• Assemble final deliverables and submission packages under deadlines
• Develop/remediate documents for Section 508 accessibility
• Perform quality control for formatting, accessibility, branding, completeness
• Validate TOCs, hyperlinks, bookmarks, tables and figures
• Ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with proposal teams, editors, and staff
• Maintain organized electronic files and document libraries
• Recommend process improvements and efficiencies
