Job summary

CLT Recruiters presents an opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to support a high-end residential construction management firm in Boston, focusing on ongoing service and maintenance of finished homes. You will work with the Senior Services Manager, coordinating field and office activities, and ensuring documentation is accurate and timely.

The role is a step-up from current positions, with opportunities to develop skills in drawing management, RFIs, submittals, and closeout processes

Qualifications

• A degree in construction management, engineering or a related field, or equivalent construction experience.
• Experience in commercial construction. An internship counts.
• The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Microsoft Office, and ideally some exposure to construction management software.
• Superior time management, organization and attention to detail.
• Someone who escalates a problem instead of sitting on it, and who is comfortable in front of homeowners, subcontractors and design teams.
• A valid driver's license. OSHA 10 or 30 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage project drawings, RFIs, and submittals with latest revisions.
• Attend weekly project meetings and record detailed minutes.
• Ensure contracts and insurance are current before subs on site.
• Coordinate with field staff, subcontractors, vendors and design professionals.
• Draft and submit RFIs and submittals for senior review.
• Collect daily reports and manage closeout documentation.
