Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Risk Control Associate Specialist, Property, to support engineers and underwriters with specialized risk solutions. You will conduct on-site assessments, advise on loss controls, and help manage lower complexity risks across the region.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science, with 3+ years of relevant experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a science discipline.
• Three or more years of experience in engineering or fire protection.
• Strong verbal and written communication, and ability to explain technical information to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a field presence with customers ( onsite or virtual) 20%–50% of the time.
• Travel to customers including long-distance and overnight trips as needed.
• Assist and conduct risk evaluations, identify exposures, loss controls, and opportunities for improved risk management.
• Share findings with Underwriting to support risk pricing.
• Develop and deliver training resources for field consultants and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
