Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Risk Control Associate Specialist, Property, to support risk evaluations and provide specialized technical solutions to lower complexity risks. You will work with customers onsite or remotely across the region and collaborate with underwriting and claims teams.

Ideal candidates have engineering or science degrees and 3+ years of experience, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a science discipline.
• Three or more years in engineering or fire protection industries.
• Strong written and verbal communication to simplify technical information.
• Interpersonal skills to build credibility with customers and colleagues.
• Organizational and time-management skills to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain field presence with customers 20–50% of the time, onsite or virtual.
• Build expertise from training resources and customer surveys to improve.
• Assist risk evaluations and share findings with Underwriting for pricing.
• Educate customers on risk management and encourage recommended changes.
• Support training programs for field consultants through research on trends.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
