Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking a Risk Control Associate Specialist, Property to deliver risk engineering expertise and help clients reduce losses. You will regularly consult onsite with customers across the region and support underwriting and claims execution with actionable risk insights.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science and have 3+ years in engineering or fire protection, with strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience within the engineering or fire protection industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication to simplify complex technical information and deliver recommendations.
• Interpersonal and influencing skills to build credibility with customers and drive action.
• Organizational and time management skills to manage priorities and meet expectations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk evaluations of Travelers customers, identifying exposures, loss controls, and opportunities for improved risk management.
• Regularly consult onsite with customers across the region regarding risk exposures and loss controls.
• Support underwriting and claim execution processes with risk insights.
• Develop and deliver training resources for field consultants on emerging issues and loss trends.
• Travel as needed to visit customers and collaborate with teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
