Job summary

Red Hospitality & Leisure in the US Virgin Islands is seeking a hands-on Property Operations role to organize daily operations, supervise equipment setup, and train staff and guests in watersports safety and use.

You will oversee staff, ensure guest satisfaction, and support sailing lessons, vessel clearances, and tour desk activities in a dynamic, outdoor environment.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly

Duties (NOT ALL INCLUSIVE):

• Organize and supervise daily property operations.
• Manage dailysetupandbreakdownof beach equipment.
• Provide continuous training to staff and guests on the use of watersports equipment in coordination with the Charter Operations Manager.
• Monitor and enforce all standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure staff delivera high-quality guest experience.
• Assistin assigning and delegating daily tasks to the watersports and office teams.
• Provide safety briefings to guests entering the water.
• Identifyand report maintenance needs forwatersportsequipment.
• Perform light equipment maintenance and make recommendations for replacements as needed.
• Foster a positive work environment and motivate staff to achieve sales goals, deliver superior guest service, and promote RED/CBW.
• Assist with Hobie Cat and sailing lessons and training sessions.
• Assistwith dinghy training andmaintainaccuraterecords of all evolutions.
• Promote regular (weekly/monthly) staff training in all aspects of thewatersportscenter, including sales, operations, and safety.
• Adjust work schedules forcall-outsand emergency time-off.
• Serve as Property Operations Manager in their absence.
• Operate the Tour Desk and manage retail functions.
• Handle vessel clearances for international trips.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution (Preferred).
• Previousexperience in customer service and/or relevant work experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be able to walk onvarious typesof surfaces including rough terrain, sitting, standing,maintainingbalance, on the beach, in the water, and working alone.
• Must be able toworkvarious work settings such as exposure to sunlight and outside temperature.
• Ability toestablishand maintain effective working relationships with all persons contacted during the work.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply regulations and safe practices.
• Ability tooperateassigned equipment, read and interpret documents.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to speak and write clearly and concisely.
• Must be able tooperatewith little or no supervision.
• Must be willing to work holidays, nights, and weekends.
