Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in California to support the Property Manager in overseeing daily operations, lease administration, and resident relations. The role requires handling accounts receivable, rent processing, and monthly reporting to ensure efficient property management.

The candidate should have 2–3 years in property management, a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred), and familiarity with Yardi Voyager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Two to three years property management experience required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
• Prior experience with Yardi Voyager or similar system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the property manager in day-to-day property operations.
• Manage accounts receivable including rent collection and rent postings.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly financial and leasing reports.
• Audit records for lease expirations, delinquencies, and unlawful detainers.
• Process moves, evictions, and renewals as needed.
• Lease apartments and manage resident relations and problem resolution.
• Assist training staff on leasing, marketing, and office operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and company policies.
