Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Undergraduate or Associate Degree in General Studies.
• 3-4 years of supervisory experience in property management.
• Preferred certifications: ARM, CPM, CAM, or IREM.
• Required skills: fair housing laws, Microsoft Office, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates daily operations of the apartment community, including administration, leasing, occupancy, maintenance, and staff management.
• Establishes and maintains communication between on-site staff and Corporate Office; conducts performance evaluations.
• Oversees on-site property management software, time-keeping systems, and budget adherence; processes purchase orders and analyzes vendor contracts.
• Assists in annual operating budget planning and monthly variance reporting with Regional Manager.
• Maintains knowledge of maintenance programs and coordinates with Engineering for major issues; ensures housing quality standards.
• Participates in development of marketing plans and coordination of advertising to maximize occupancy and comply with affirmative marketing goals.
