Job summary

Broekema Group's commercial real estate client in San Diego is seeking a Property Manager to own day-to-day operations across assigned assets, focusing on physical condition, tenant experience, budget management, and vendor oversight.

You will partner with a Regional Property Manager and collaborate with accounting, marketing, and leasing teams to drive property performance and portfolio initiatives, including annual budgets, cost controls, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and 7 years of experience may be considered as an alternative.
• 5 years of experience in retail property management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Prior experience utilizing property management technology/systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily property operations to meet company standards for physical condition and tenant experience.
• Conduct regular property inspections and address issues to prevent escalations.
• Build and manage annual operating and capital budgets; track financial performance and variances.
• Monitor operating expenses and identify cost efficiencies without compromising standards.
• Oversee capital projects from planning to completion within scope, budget and timelines.
• Cultivate relationships with tenants, vendors and stakeholders to support performance and customer experience.
