Job summary

GGP is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee Christiana Mall in Newark, DE. You will manage physical assets, coordinate construction, and supervise service contracts, aiming for safe, efficient operations and strong tenant relations.

Responsibilities include capital planning, safety program administration, and contributing to sustainability goals, while leading a team and ensuring adherence to corporate standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years in shopping centers or equivalent management and leadership.
• 3+ years facilities operations or construction management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and blueprints/CAD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to supervise and train teams.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the property to standards with cost efficiency.
• Oversee vendor contracts, safety programs, and capital/operating plans.
• Coordinate with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to meet lease requirements.
• Review invoices, manage budgets, and monitor utility usage and sustainability efforts.
• Lead crisis response and participate in MOD coverage as needed.
