GGP, headquartered in Chicago, IL, seeks an Operations Manager for Christiana Mall in Newark, DE to oversee cost-effective operation, maintenance, safety, and project coordination alongside the Sr General Manager.

Responsibilities include multi-year CAPEX/OPEX planning, tenant coordination, vendor oversight, and safety compliance. Strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in shopping centers or equivalent management.
• 3+ years of facilities operations or construction management preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial building systems and CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate a well-maintained property delivering a positive guest experience.
• Oversee assets to ensure maintenance to required standards in the most economical way.
• Develop multi-year capital and operating expense plans and projects to meet company goals.
• Build strong tenant relationships and ensure lease compliance during pre-construction and follow-up.
• Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs and vendor oversight.
• Ensure safety systems are code compliant, inspected, and documented.
• Support safety, health, and environment programs and sustainability efforts.
• Monitor utility consumption and building controls to optimize efficiency.
• Lead direct reports and collaborate with corporate and local teams.
