BGRE, a premier global real estate partner, seeks a General Manager to lead the property team at Christiana Mall in Newark, DE. You will drive operational excellence, develop multi-year capital and operating plans, and build strong customer and tenant relationships to achieve sales and occupancy targets.

The role requires guiding the team across disciplines, ensuring safety compliance, and aligning with corporate sustainability goals while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
• 5+ years of shopping center leadership experience required.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a clean, well-maintained property with a positive guest experience.
• Manage multi-year capital and operating plans to meet company expectations.
• Monitor key metrics: net operating income, cash flow, occupancy, sales, and financing.
• Develop and lead the property team while ensuring policy compliance.
• Foster relationships with tenants, officials, and community partners.
• Support safety programs and align with Brookfield Properties’ Life Saving Principles.
