The role requires leadership, strong numerical and communication skills, and experience with property management software like Yardi. Excellent organizational abilities and a customer-focused approach are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong numerical skills for calculations and financial tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Outlook.
• Real estate/property management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collects rent payments and secures deposits.
• Inputs daily activity transactions in Yardi and prepares accounting records.
• Assists Community Director with lease approvals and rent-related tasks.
• Maintains organized community office files and reports.
• Supports leasing duties, including showing apartments and preparing leases.
• Ensures compliance with Fair Housing laws and local regulations.
• Assists with resident retention and renewal programs.
