Job summary

Arcan Capital seeks a Property Operations Specialist to own property-level financial execution and portfolio operational reporting. You will ensure accurate data, disciplined processes, and consistent execution across properties, serving as a bridge between asset management and on-site teams.

The role blends hands-on financial operations with performance monitoring and reporting, contributing to portfolio stability and growth while collaborating with Corporate, Asset Management, and site teams.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, financial, and operational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Word and Outlook.
• Experience with property management systems (Yardi preferred).
• Working knowledge of AP/AR processes and basic financial reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support AP/AR workflows and ledger accuracy.
• Track delinquencies, renewals, and evictions.
• Maintain records in Yardi and PM systems.
• Prepare weekly/monthly operational and financial reports.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify trends.
• Assist acquisitions and ad-hoc reporting.
