Job summary

Homestead Affordable Housing Inc is seeking a dedicated Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and experience with property management software such as Yardi and OneSite.

This role requires proactive facilities management, ensuring tenant satisfaction while maintaining compliance with LIHTC and Section 8 guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property management or a related administrative role within real estate.
• Strong knowledge of LIHTC and Section 8 regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with property management software (OneSite) and Yardi.
• Strong communication skills with tenants, vendors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of assigned properties, ensuring compliance and maintenance.
• Oversee tenant relations, inquiries, and issue resolution to maintain satisfaction.
• Coordinate leasing activities, tours, and processing of applications.
• Maintain contracts, leases, and tenant files in OneSite/Yardi.
• Prepare reports on occupancy, performance and financial metrics for upper management.
• Ensure LIHTC and Section 8 compliance across properties.
