Job summary

Atlantic Pacific Companies in Glenn Dale, Maryland is seeking an experienced Property Manager for affordable housing communities totaling 159 units. The role focuses on leasing, resident relations, operations, and LIHTC compliance.

A hands-on leader will develop the property team and ensure performance aligned with HUD/LIHTC rules. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm; full-time with on-site duties and potential weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• LIHTC experience required.
• Two-three years LIHTC related experience.
• Associate's degree preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and collaboration tools.
• Experience with OneSite or Yardi (CRM/Voyager/P2P) is required.
• Bluemoon and Yieldstar experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage leasing, resident relations, marketing, maintenance, budgeting, AR/AP, vendor relations, recruitment, and team development.
• Holds regular team meetings to track goals and actions.
• Communicates vision and direction to the property team.
• Procures supplies and equipment per annual budget.
• Prepares HUD/LIHTC compliance paperwork accurately and timely.
• Ensures proper screening, lease execution, and rent collection per HUD/LIHTC rules.
• Walks the property daily and inspects units and common areas.
• Leads on-site safety discussions with Maintenance Supervisor.
• Addresses resident problems to resolution.
