Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Property Manager to oversee the overall administration, financial performance, regulatory compliance, resident relations, staff supervision, and physical operations of the community. You will lead on-site operations, ensuring efficiency and compliant practices across LIHTC and Fair Housing standards.

The role requires 5+ years in multifamily property management, including affordable housing, with strong organizational and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of multifamily property management experience.
• 3+ years managing affordable housing communities.
• Deep knowledge of Section 8 and LIHTC as related to property management.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the property’s finances through rent collections, delinquency management, invoicing, capital expenses, and related tasks.
• Develop strategies to reduce vacancy loss and improve financial performance.
• Conduct resident/applicant interviews and manage EIV.
• Ensure timely completion of interim and annual certifications.
• Maintain resident files and ensure compliance with LIHTC, Fair Housing, Landlord-Tenant Laws, OSHA, HUD policies.
• Prepare for and respond to compliance audits, MORs, NSPIRE inspections, investor reviews, and agency monitoring visits.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance with Maintenance personnel.
• Maintain an economic occupancy rate of at least 95%.
• Address residents’ concerns promptly and professionally.
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours situations as required.
