The role requires strong knowledge of LIHTC/Section 8 programs, Fair Housing, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; on-site scheduling applies, with occasional travel for training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of affordable housing experience with LIHTC or Section 8.
• Solid understanding of Fair Housing regulations.
• Strong ability in income qualification, tenant file accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned properties.
• Market and lease apartments, drive cost effectiveness, and manage budgets.
• Address and manage resident concerns and supervise property staff.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and affordable housing regulations.
• Coordinate inspections and certifications for government programs.
• Maintain vacancies and actively market units to achieve occupancy targets.
• Supervise vendors and organize community activities as required.
• Be on-call for after-hours emergencies and travel for trainings as needed.
