Job summary

Barkan Management Company, Inc. is seeking a Property Manager to oversee community operations for a portfolio of residential properties.

You will lead onboarding, staff supervision, and ensure excellent customer service to residents while coordinating leasing, maintenance, and compliance activities. In this role you will manage budgets, drive occupancy objectives, and ensure timely reporting to supervisors and owners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years in multi-family property management and supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor on-site staff, ensuring adherence to corporate mission and goals.
• Manage leasing, marketing, and resident relations to maintain high occupancy levels.
• Oversee property operations, budgeting, reporting, and compliance with HUD/monitoring agency requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance and safety protocols, scheduling, and vendor management.
