Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of the property, including leasing, rent collection, and client relations. You will ensure excellent resident experiences, manage staff, and execute the marketing plan to retain residents.

You will coordinate with the corporate office, uphold maintenance standards, and drive ongoing process improvements. A background in property management and real estate licenses is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years of property management experience required.
• One to two years of direct management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities required.
• Real estate license preferred or may be required in some locations.
• Salesforce.com knowledge preferred.
• Yardi Voyager experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property including resident satisfaction and retention, lease administration, rent collection and delinquency management, property P&L, and property marketing.
• Meet client expectations and provide excellent customer service.
• Recruit, interview, provide corrective feedback, and hire staff as needed.
• Lead and coach associates, communicating a shared vision and developing talent.
• Execute the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
• Follow operations guidelines in the property management agreement.
• Respond to resident complaints and liaise with residents and corporate office on maintenance and rules enforcement.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
• Organize site emergency evacuation plans.
• Manage safety records, loss claims and risk management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
