Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Property Manager to oversee the overall operations of a residential property, ensuring efficient operations, vendor management, lease administration, and monthly reporting. You will create a positive experience for residents, associates, and clients while driving occupancy and performance.

Responsibilities include day-to-day operations, customer service excellence, staff recruitment, coaching, marketing execution, and adherence to management agreements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years of property management experience required.
• One to two years of direct management experience required.
• Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities preferred.
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com preferred; Yardi Voyager experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the property including resident satisfaction and retention, lease administration, rent collection and delinquency management, property P&L, and marketing.
• Meet client expectations and provide excellent customer service.
• Recruit, interview, provide corrective feedback, and hire staff.
• Provide coaching and development to associates and lead with a shared vision.
• Execute the strategic marketing plan to attract and retain residents.
• Adhere to operations guidelines in the property management agreement.
• Respond to resident complaints and liaise with residents and corporate office.
• Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and networking.
• Organize site disaster and emergency evacuation plans.
• Manage safety records, property loss claims, and risk initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
