Job summary

ABEL BISHOP & CLARKE REALTY CO is seeking a Property Manager in Akron, OH to oversee leasing, maintenance, and financial performance of a property, while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.

You will supervise leasing and maintenance staff, retain residents, approve leases, perform HUD recertifications, monitor delinquency and rent collection, and coordinate capital improvements within budget guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in affordable housing programs or HUD recertifications is preferred.
• Ability to administer HUD recertifications and review EIV reports as required.
• Proven ability to manage property budgets, occupancy, and delinquency metrics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise leasing and maintenance staff, schedule work, and provide training.
• Maintain property occupancy and tenant retention through effective operations.
• Approve lease applications and process move-ins.
• Oversee rent collections and delinquency reporting.
• Coordinate capital improvements and bid processes.
