Job summary

CHN Housing Partners in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a Property Manager for Multi-Family housing in Niles, OH. You will oversee daily operations, leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and compliance with HUD/OHFA standards to serve residents and preserve affordable housing.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of property management experience, knowledge of rental regulations, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of related experience as an individual contributor.
• Knowledge of residential property management procedures and policies.
• Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, fair housing regulations and bookkeeping procedures.
• Ability to plan, assign, review and coordinate work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• General knowledge of maintenance issues and MS Office usage.
• Ability to conduct tax credit and HUD file compliance reviews and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of one or more residential properties in Niles, OH.
• Walk the property daily to ensure security and safety of systems.
• Oversee leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and support activities.
• Manage property budgets, collections and improvements.
• Coordinate resident services and complete routine reports.
• Maintain accurate rent rolls, deposits, and move-in dates.
• Ensure HUD/OHFA compliance through audits and inspections.
• Prepare for MOR, REAC, OHFA and city inspections.
