Job summary

National Church Residences in Ohio seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in operating three senior affordable housing communities. This role involves handling daily administrative tasks, assisting residents, processing applications and background checks, and ensuring compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8.

You will manage rent collections, maintain records, coordinate with maintenance, and prepare occupancy and financial reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related property management education is a plus.
• Experience in property management, preferably affordable housing.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operations of three senior affordable housing communities.
• Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests promptly.
• Assist leasing, process applications, and conduct background checks.
• Help manage rent collections, lease enforcement, and delinquencies.
• Maintain records of tenant interactions and financial transactions.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to complete work orders.
• Ensure HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8 compliance; prepare reports on occupancy and finances.
• Support budget prep and financial planning with the Property Manager.
