Job summary

Avison Young in Seattle is seeking a Property Administrator to support the Property Manager with daily operations and financial administration for a portfolio of commercial properties.

The role focuses on rent processing, budgeting support, and tenant relations. Candidates should have 3+ years in property management and strong skills in Yardi, Excel, and MS Office. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property management experience or post-secondary courses in property management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage renter accounts and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the annual budget process for assigned buildings within the portfolio.
• Draft and distribute correspondences to tenants.
• Responsible for rent collection, cheque posting, and application of monies to tenant accounts in Yardi.
• Review monthly recurring billings and monitor/collect arrears.
• Prepare and issue statements of Rental Charge Invoices and letters.
• Liaise with tenants and accounting regarding accounts receivable matters.
• Assist with client relationship management and day-to-day operations with the Property Manager.
