Avison Young | US is seeking a Senior Property Manager responsible for overall asset management, finances, and tenant relations for an assigned portfolio. You will ensure income collection, expense control, and NOI achievement while coordinating maintenance and staff across the property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business, real estate or finance.
• Candidate will have a minimum of ten years related experience in urban retail and mixed used portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of financial terms and principals; ability to analyze and make decisions.
• Ability to resolve situations or complaints from tenants, employees, or management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the property and staff, and contractors.
• Coordinate maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Train and mentor personnel; participate in hiring decisions with the Director, Property Management.
• Prepare premises for tenant occupancy and manage budgets and reports.
• Maintain landlord/tenant relations; conduct site tours and meetings with tenants/clients.
• Review and manage leases, tenant improvements, and related cost estimates.
• Ensure timely rent collection, arrears follow-up, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and present concise property management reports to Owners/Asset Managers.
