Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to service apartment communities. The role requires diagnosing and repairing building systems, completing resident work orders, and performing make-ready tasks for new move-ins.

You will manage inventory, document tasks, and support groundskeeping and safety programs on-site. Applicants should have 2+ years in property maintenance and may hold HVAC certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• 2 years minimum experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• May require HVAC certifications and licenses.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to ensure building and common areas meet safety and quality standards.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacants for leasing, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Manages materials and inventory, tracks usage, and coordinates with maintenance supervisor on re-orders.
• Documents work orders accurately to ensure proper tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and amenities, cleans areas, and paints curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible and using tools safely.
