Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to ensure property buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

The role performs work requests, preventative maintenance, make-ready tasks, and routine inspections, with a focus on reliability, safety, and cost efficiency. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 2+ years in property maintenance; EPA refrigerant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience.
• 2 years minimum experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• EPA refrigerant certification (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in buildings, grounds, and common areas according to safety standards and code requirements.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move-out inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Track inventory, obtain supplies, and notify supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Document service requests accurately and ensure timely record-keeping.
• Maintain grounds and amenities; perform cleaning, painting, and minor repairs as needed.
• Assist cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible and using materials efficiently.
