Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to address apartment and property maintenance tasks while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining curb appeal. The role involves a range of repairs and proactive upkeep under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor and property manager.

The candidate will participate in on-call emergencies, uphold safety standards, and communicate issues to leadership while promoting a positive experience for residents and staff alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in property management or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds maintenance as directed.
• Carry out carpentry tasks such as wallboard repair, cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, door/lock repair, tile repair.
• Conduct preventative maintenance including siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator etc.
• Maintain work order system and ensure timely completion to standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect property grounds and common areas to uphold safety and cleanliness.
