Avanath Capital is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our multifamily communities in top condition and ensure resident satisfaction. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage make-ready tasks to prepare homes for leasing.

We value hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance maintenance, plus a commitment to safety and excellent service. This on-site role requires reliability and teamwork to support our residents and properties.

Qualifications

• 2 years of multifamily maintenance experience preferred.
• Hands-on maintenance skills: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, appliances, pools.
• EPA Type II or Universal certification is highly desired; CPO is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service with every interaction and maintenance service quality.
• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing per policies and safety standards.
• Prepares vacant homes for leasing including pre-move-out inspections and punch lists; coordinates vendors as needed.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting when required.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts rather than replacing when feasible and tracks inventory.
