Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. You will handle work orders, complete make-ready tasks, manage materials, and document maintenance activities.

The role includes maintaining grounds, assisting in safety compliance, and supporting occasional travel between properties.

Qualifications

• EPA refrigerant certification Type 1 & II or Universal required.
• State and local certifications as required for the property.
• Valid driver’s license to operate vehicles on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing by completing pre-move-out inspections and creating punch lists.
• Manages materials and inventory, tracks usage, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and accountability.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, cleans and paints as needed.
• Supports cost control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.

Education
