Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety and functionality.

You will diagnose defects, complete work orders, and perform preventative maintenance while following safety policies and local codes. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, may be required, with opportunities for growth within a large global real estate platform.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance work on residential properties.
• Ability to diagnose and repair issues per safety standards and code requirements.
• Ability to read and complete work orders and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventive maintenance on the property.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Follows procedures to obtain materials from the maintenance department and track inventory.
