Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician for Avana Matthews in Matthews, NC. This role performs routine mechanical work to keep buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas in line with company standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Responsibilities include completing work orders and preventative maintenance, making-ready units for leasing, managing inventory, and ensuring proper documentation.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and Local certifications as required by jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and repairing per safety standards.
• Prepares vacant units for leasing via make-ready processes including inspections and punch lists.
• Manages materials and inventory, returning unused items and reordering supplies as needed.
• Documents service requests promptly and accurately for tracking and reporting.
