Job summary

Westminster-Management’s Pier Village property in Long Branch, NJ seeks a Property Maintenance Technician to keep residences and common areas safe, functional, and inviting.

You'll handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance, respond to emergencies, and support resident satisfaction with timely service.

Requirements include 1-3 years of maintenance experience and a valid driver's license; housing discounts and a strong benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of property maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Experience with work order software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the Fix-It Pro! Handle repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances, and prep homes for new residents.
• Keep the property well-presented with painting, carpentry and upkeep tasks.
• Tackle emergencies promptly and be available for rotating on-call shifts.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in top condition.
• Collaborate with the property management team to prioritize repairs and plan large projects.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing resident concerns quickly and professionally.
