Westminster Management’s Atlantic Pointe apartments in Atlantic Highlands, NJ is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician. You’ll be the hands-on expert keeping our community safe, functional, and attractive for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry; completing make-readies for new residents; performing preventative maintenance; and responding to emergencies on a rotating on-call schedule. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years of property maintenance, handyman work, or a related field.
• Skills: Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repairs. Certifications are a plus!
• License: A valid Driver’s License!
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable using work order systems or mobile apps to track tasks.
• Physical: Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in various conditions.
• Attitude: Problem-solving mindset, great attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Customer Focus: A friendly and professional approach to working with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Be the Fix-It Pro! Handle repairs from plumbing/electrical to HVAC and appliance maintenance; complete make-readies for new residents.
• Keep it Pretty! Complete painting, carpentry and general upkeep tasks to ensure the property looks its best.
• Tackle Emergencies! Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies; rotate on-call schedule.
• Stay Ahead! Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in top shape.
• Collaborate! Work with the property management team to prioritize repairs and plan for larger projects.
• Wow Residents! Deliver excellent customer service by addressing concerns quickly and professionally.
