Job summary

Eden Housing is seeking an Entry Level Maintenance Technician for Ashland Village Apartments in San Leandro, CA. The role performs maintenance and repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance tasks at multiple communities.

You will use Yardi to manage work orders, conduct property inspections, coordinate with residents, and participate in an on-call emergency schedule. A High School diploma or GED and at least one year in maintenance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in maintenance or construction.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs across multiple trades including plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting.
• Use Yardi software to create and complete work orders and track tasks.
• Conduct daily property inspections and document deficiencies with photos.
• Assist with custodial and grounds tasks as needed.
• Participate in on-site safety meetings and emergency on-call rotations.
