Job summary

Eden Housing is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform skilled repairs across our communities in Hayward, CA. Responsibilities include completing work orders via Yardi, inspecting properties, and coordinating with the Community Manager to address deficiencies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of maintenance or construction experience. On-call evening/weekend coverage is part of the schedule; safety and housing regulations are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Two years of maintenance or construction experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Yardi to create and/or complete work orders and sync daily.
• Communicate with resident if there are delays in completing work such as needing to order parts.
• Able to train other maintenance technicians on how to complete work orders using cell phone or tablet.
• Actively walk the property daily looking for deficiencies and submit work orders.
