Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle a range of apartment and property maintenance duties under supervision, ensuring top customer service and curb appeal at the assigned property.

You will perform repairs, carpentry, and preventative maintenance, while maintaining safety, timely communications, and high resident satisfaction. A professional demeanor and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and general carpentry skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance including electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds as required.
• Perform carpentry duties: wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, tile repair.
• Carry out preventative maintenance: siding, painting, lighting, sprinkler, pool, elevator, and more.
• Verify work orders are completed to company standards and resident satisfaction.
• Inspect grounds and common areas for safety and cleanliness; identify issues.
• Assist with property emergencies (snow, fires, floods) as needed.
• Communicate maintenance issues to leadership in a timely manner.
• Promote safety and risk management per rules and regulations.
