Job summary

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certification required.
• State and local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant apartments including pre-move-out inspection, punch list, scheduling vendors, supplies, and inspecting completed work.
• Follows procedures to access materials from the maintenance department and tracks inventory, returning unused items and notifying re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests in a timely, accurate manner.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts and using tools properly.
• Attends safety meetings and follows OSHA and related safety requirements.
• Assists in inspecting contractor work to verify quality and communicates concerns to management.
