Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain building systems and common areas at our Virginia properties. The role involves diagnosing issues, completing work orders, and coordinating with vendors to ensure safety, cleanliness, and functional spaces for residents.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications, state/local licenses, and a valid driver’s license. You will work on-site, support grounds, and participate in safety programs while handling occasional

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant recycling certifications required.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Performs make-ready process for vacant apartment homes, including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Manages materials and inventory, tracks usage, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and record-keeping.
• Assists in grounds and common area upkeep, cleaning, painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Contributes to cost control by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.

Education
