Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician in Colorado Springs to perform technical and mechanical work, ensuring buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality.

Essential duties include completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, tracking materials, documenting requests, and maintaining outdoor spaces. Candidates must have EPA refrigerant certifications and be able to work a flexible schedule as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience performing repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical defects per policy and code.
• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose defects and repair per policies and code requirements.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant homes including inspections and punch lists.
• Track materials, procure supplies, and notify supervisor about re-orders.
• Document service requests accurately for tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; perform general cleaning and painting as needed.
• Assist cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
