Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain property buildings, grounds and amenities in Greenwood Village, CO. You will diagnose defects, perform repairs, complete make-ready tasks for vacant units, and ensure safety standards and code compliance.

Responsibilities include tracking supplies, documenting work orders, and supporting cost-saving by repairing instead of replacing parts. Flexibility and OSHA familiarity are required; EPA refrigerant certifications are applicable.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• All state and local jurisdiction certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects, making repairs per safety standards and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Tracks materials and returns unused items to the established location; notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents and files work orders timely and accurately for proper tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas and amenities by cleaning, painting and performing related tasks as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
