Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep the property’s physical elements, grounds, and common areas up to Greystar standards. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and manage the make-ready process for vacant units to ensure timely leasing and move-ins.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, following safety procedures, tracking inventory, and assisting with grounds maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance tasks on property buildings, grounds, and amenities.
• Ability to diagnose defects, perform repairs, and maintain safety and code compliance.
• Experience coordinating make-ready tasks for vacant units and leasing readiness.
• Ability to follow procedures for inventory, materials, and tool usage.
• Willingness to support grounds keeping, cleaning, and minor painting tasks.
• Cost-conscious mindset, using parts and materials efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Makes repairs per established policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Completes the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and vendor coordination.
• Tracks inventory and notifies supervisor about re-order needs.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning, painting, and debris removal.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts where possible.
